A HARBINGER OF THINGS TO COME

Once is not enough when it comes to visiting Harbinger. Joe Lucas and Parrish Chilcoat of Lucas Studio have created a hot design destination in their new location on La Cienega Boulevard in West Hollywood.
Each visit brings a new discovery. Be on the lookout for fresh finds from Europe, wallpapers and fabrics from newcomer Lindsay Alker, Living Vintage fabrics from Alt for Living, Beeline Home by Bunny Williams, and lots more.
I can't resist showing the rest of the shop, after my initial coverage here, as I get endless inspiration from it. I think you will too.

The vignette that greets you has a divine Coleen and Company faux animal painted table, small chair upholstered in a Katie Leede fabric and a nicely scaled Swedish bench.

Take it all in-- it goes on and on!

The Katie Ridder fabrics and wallpaper section, in neat little quadrants.

A tufted velvet sofa, custom coffee table and Beeline Home chairs and mirror draw you in. I think you will find love at first site.

A great painted Swedish chair and celadon leather.

A long table is ready for scheming.

A raffia wrapped chair and raku glazed garden seat make an instant moment. In fact, the store is made up of so many well done rooms, you will want to say, "wrap it up, I'll take it all."

A bed made up in custom embroidered hangings from Holland and Sherry.

I snuck a shot of Joe and Parrish's office. It looks pretty organized, I must say.

A seating area in the back faces an entire wall of Holland and Sherry fabrics.

More fabrics!

A table vignette with wonderful painted pottery and a screen in an Idarica fabric.

Love the mini-camel-back sofa in a Katie Leede fabric.

Prints etc and Italian vases.

Not one's to overlook details, the signage is proper. Looking for the W.C.? Right this way.

A bold wide green, grey white and black alternating stripe is a nice surprise, a la Paul Smith.

Pow! This (additional) powder room mixes a graphic Italian red and blue pomegranate paper with a super cool Malachite octagonal mirror.
