Made from salvaged pine wine box lids, drilled and steel wire threaded.  Killer on the hands this one.

My new favourite place

is a wood yard called Forest Creations out in Wetton.  Grant has it all  - it's like hitting the jackpot.  Though I just missed the cork but got some lovely pieces of aromatic cedar, yellow-wood and wild olive among others.

But look at this piece of Ika Wood that was salvaged from under the sea - it used to be jetty.  The wiggly lines are were marine creepy crawlies where living.

AMAZING.
