Book Art - Elle Deco - Spring 2011
Flora and Fauna of the Western Cape - original pocket size Flora guide for the Western Cape with Sunbirds cut from the feathered guide. The background is made up of collaged flowers cut from the pages. Further pieces are available at Haas in the Bo-Kaap and The Fringe Arts on Kloof Street and the Waterfront.
The flying fish are one of my first works - the book is 'Tresure Island' and I have printed selected words onto the actual fish. The background is mirrored with lines drawn - hard - into it.
