Lovely little home style restuarant in Tulbagh literally on the front stoep. All the greens come fresh from the permaculture garden in the back and the menu is changed daily around this. Salads are an artfully arranged mess of pepperi rocket leaves, melon, tomato, cucumber and fresh herbs among lots of other interesting bits. Just how I like a salad. Other mains include quiche of the day (that day it was butternut, spinach and blue cheese), chicken pie, homemade burgers and gnochi.
The owners run the place by themselves so just relax when you go there and take a browse through various very out of date magazines - GREAT!
It's on your left on the main road as you drive in from the Groot Winterhoek mountain side.
