“Design bloggers have always been integral in helping us identify emerging trends, ideas and new designers,” said Ann Maine, Editor in Chief, Traditional Home. “With the help of design bloggers, we selected 10 NEW TRADS we think everyone should keep an eye on and we’re thrilled to showcase their work in the spring issue.” After receiving literally hundreds of submissions from bloggers to share a new crop of emerging talent, 10 were selected. I always love to learn about new designers around the country, and this open sourcing format was a good way to have talent scouts on the lookout everywhere. There were 20 chosen for the inaugural year issue, so it is especially fun to be included.
I am so excited that a choice of mine, Christina Murphy,will be showcased in the issue. Look out for the New Trads in the digital issue this May. With that said, here they are! Congratulations to the fantastic bloggers and their designer darlings.
