mellow yellow
Sometimes all you need is a little touch of color to make you smile.. What are your plans for the weekend? I am going to try and get into my copy of The Great Gatsby this weekend, of course it is not vintage and covered in yellow but I am sure that the story is still just as good!
Enjoy your Friday my friends!

Get out your sunnies! The weather has been hot, hot, hot. New York City just had it's third heatwave. Thomas Paul's fab Jackie Sunglasses Case is just the thing to throw into your bag to easily access your shades to block the blinding rays.
If you find yourself entertaining out of doors and want a shady spot, here are some chic outdoor umbrellas that won't break the bank.

Linen bedding..
I have been a huge fan of linen bedding for a long while now. I simply love the softness of the sheets and the crumpled relaxed look of the fabric on the bed. At first I was all about the natural color and now I am infatuated with the dark greys and the white. This is what my bed seems to look like with the mix of the colors.. so natural and so relaxing!

kitchen love....
yep you guessed it I am completely kitchen obsessed right now! I cannot stop looking through images and thinking of new ideas to add to my kitchen. We are working on the island and the pantry right now so it is all about the right sink and faucet, how big can we make the pull out trash cans, and things like that (sounds pretty exciting, huh!) This kitchen is pretty amazing I love the separation with the glass windows, the stripe for the banquette and the pendants- all fantastic!
